Traveler Tips
- If possible, choose the Deluxe upgrade — the extra cocktail(s) + gelato make it a more memorable treat.
- Try to arrive a little early, especially if coming from the cruise terminal or farther away—traffic or transport delays can cut into the time.
- Bring a camera—there are nice photo opportunities in and around the distillery and in the courtyard.
- If you dislike strong flavors, start slow with the tastings; liqueurs can be intense.
- Ask questions: guides are usually enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and love to share stories behind the flavors, history, and production.
- After the tasting, consider purchasing a bottle directly—often selections can be more varied or reasonably priced at the distillery’s gift shop.
- If you don’t drink alcohol, ask about non-alcoholic options (some may be available).
- Wear comfortable shoes; though it’s mostly a distillery tour, there may be uneven floors or cobblestones.
